CLASSY | PALM SPRINGS, CA | NICOLE&ROB
I shot this series this past weekend around Downtown Palm Springs. We started off the day checking out the thrift stores ( or so we planned ) we only ended up able to go to one thrift store which was Angel View in Downtown. I myself prefer Gypsyland in Desert Hot Springs, but with the sun almost hitting the peak of the mountains, We had to hurry. It was well worth it we ended up finding the perfect dress. We were going for 40s / modern and I believe it was captured.

I have been experimenting with HDR photography since I first picked up a camera. So when I got a chance to shoot a kind of Real Estate type vibe set for a luxury RV magazine I was extremely excited to put what I have learned to use. The style of HDR and the richness of the photograph not having any shadows in a picture and everything just being so colorful I think is AMAZING! I am still to this day perfecting it there is tricks you do to get the perfect HDR picture.

Thursday November, 21st 2013 I shot my first Art based event. The event was for Russian Artist Elena Bulatova Celebrating the opening of her Fine Art Gallery in my home town of Palm Springs, ca. There was also a ribbon-cutting with the Mayor Steve Pougnet. Unlike other events I have shot this was one of my favorites for many reasons. The amount of great art on the walls was a delight and a great over all vibe for the opening. Look forward to having more shoots including great art.

A few weeks ago I shot my first engagement session for a friend. It was a bit stressful to say the least. Going into the first of anything I think is always a bit scary. Especially something like this. They will have these pictures forever, to show to their children and their children's children.
